Nursing careers are some of the and most in demand careers right now, and it isn't going to stop anytime soon. Not by a longshot. In fact the demand for nurses and healthcare workers is going to keep going up and up until at least year 2012. In fact it's going to double. Right now, since the career is in such high demand, wages have gone up to try to bring people in. That's nice right? So how much does a nurse make you ask? (I'm assuming you're asking.) About $45,000 is the national average. About $20 bucks an hour if you're an emergency room nurse. Not bad eh? Beats finding change in your couch. The only way to get there is to go to school. Yeah that part sucks I know, but you can do it from home for alot of it, so hey, you can still leach off your parents for a while, and stay at home. You'll have a great excuse.
